For those keeping tabs...

We got the test results of all that blood draw and all the levels are good. Things are never 100% with the tests, but like Joel says, lets B+.

January Dr.'s visit

We had one more visit yesterday and everything went great. I got my blood drawn once again, and once again, it took them 1/2 an hour and now I'm left with a big bruise. We should get a call back in the next two weeks to see if the "level" of something or other say that I'm at risk for Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida and other chromosonal things. We heard the heart beat and LOTS of kicks as well. I have gain 1 whole pound! I'm so proud of myself, but no worries there. Other then that, everything is great! Our next visit is in four weeks and that the big ultra sound visit...I don't know what that means since we've gotten ultrasounds at almost all the visits.

On another note, I think last night was the first time I felt the baby move. It could have been gas but I'm going with "the baby was kicking".

Dec. Dr Visit

On Dec. 22nd, we had our 13th Dr. visit and we have decided to change Dr. and hospital to Exempla Good Samaritan in Lafayette. This is much closer to Longmont and the Dr. has more time to meet with us at each visit. The Ultrasound tech was great and spent 45 mins. with us explaining everything.

We saw baby jumping up and down, two arms, two legs and everything looks good. We had our first of two tests to see if the baby has down syndrome and so far everything looks good. They look at the fluid in the spinal cord and that the baby has a nasal passage. Cheryl's blood pressure is still a little high and needs to be watched but no medication for now. Surprisingly, the Dr. was a little concerned about loosing 10 lbs and wants to make sure that there is no more lost. We'll see the Dr. in Jan. for week 16.

2nd Dr. Visit

Just a basic Dr. visit. Everything looks good and we got to see the ultrasound of the baby. Cheryl's blood pressure is still high but no medication at this time.

1st Dr. Visit

On Oct. 29, Cheryl went to the Dr. to make sure everything was OK since she was having some abdominal pain. The Dr. said everything was fine and we got our first ultrasound picture and heard the heart beat at 152 beats. Cheryl's blood pressure is a little high and will need to be watched.
